7.5.2010 There is a reason for this long silence; Katariina got a baby boy in March. We have also given birth to new songs, which we will record next January. And before that, a tour in Switzerland and Germany in November!

2.6.2009 We made a video (Varjosta-Out of the Shadows) in 2006, but it was never officially published. Now, finally, it is on YouTube, go check it out!

14.1.2009 Don't forget to watch the TV broadcast of the European Championships of figure skating, starting 20.1. Liisa wrote and Suden Aika performs the theme of of the broadcast! The funny thing is, that we were asked to do this when we spent the evening in a small karaoke bar in Tampere :)

31.10.2008 The recording sessions are over. We had a lovely week of hard work in the peace and quiet of Kallio-Kuninkala, and we are proud to say that it is done now. The cd, called Armas, will hopefully be out in the beginning of 2009, published by our German record company Laika-Records. Vesa and Timo made a fantastic job again, putting up with us, thank you!!!!

14.9.2008 The first week of intensive work in studio is over, and we are more than happy. Everything went better than expected, of which we are very grateful to our producer Timo Alakotila and sound technician Vesa Norilo, who made it all possible. A very special thanks to Kössi and Niina at Sonic Factory in Kärsämäki, we had a wonderful time and can warmly recommend this place to everyone.

17.8.2008 The training camp of Ilomantsi has begun. In the middle of fishing, collecting mushrooms and berries, swimming and enjoying sauna we also hunt for new songs in the ancient woods...

16.7.2007 Hello and greetings from  Germany and Czech again! We spent a long weekend at Festival Mitte Europa and really enjoyed it. Thank you everyone! We'll have a month 's holiday now, and then go to North Carelia to work on the new songs, and in September it's time for the recording to begin.

14.5.2008 Greetings from a succesful Swiss-German tour! We had lots of fun, e.g. went hiking in the Alps in Toggenburg (unbelievable) and survived meeting a huge truck on a narrow mountain road...Concerts were good, and we met many nice people. And had a lovely day in Bremen meeting Peter from our record company. We'll go to the studio again next autumn!Thank you everybody!

7.1.2008 I'll be performing with Suden aika for the last time 15th of February in Budapest. This band has been my best ever job, because of the love and respect we have shared. I want to thank Liisa, Katariina and Nora from my heart of our years together. Liisa's and mine musical career together goes back 14 years. It has been a long and good journey.

But as everything has a beginning, it also must have an end. I just know inside myself that it is time for me to face new, yet unknown adventures and possibilities.

I want to sincerely thank you all, and I am happy to say that Suden aika has a new, beautiful member. Please welcome: Veera Voima!

6.11.2007 New pictures to be seen in the picture gallery! We've started working on a plenty of new songs, let's see if we'll find ourselves in the studio some time next year again. We had a great tour in Germany in October, thank you everyone over there.

13.8.2007 Holidays are over! We had a lovely long weekend in Northern Karelia, making new material again.

12.6.2007  The tours in Russia, Germany and Netherlands were good and succesful, and it's time for summer holiday. Some gigs in Finland and the Czech Republic are to be expected, and we'll be starting a whole new interesting project in August. And in October it's time for a German tour again, great! We hope that all of you will have a warm, relaxing and joyful summer.

8.1.2007 Happy New Year everybody! Hopefully 2007 will bring you and us many new challenges. We will be travelling to Russia for the first time in March. We are to perform in Moscow to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Finnish women's right to vote.  A longer tour in Germany and the Netherlands will be in April,and we're looking forward to that , too :) The dates and places will be in the Concerts -part of this site as soon as they are confirmed.
